Hi, welcome to the Ageless Style Linkup. The linkup runs the first Tuesday of each month and features 10 women over the age of 40 styling an outfit based on one theme, and, because we’re all so different, each theme interpretation is different. Each month, one of the co-hosts invites a guest co-host to join us for the linkup. Our goal is to show you that style is ageless…
THE THEME
This month’s theme is Summer Love. And, even though I chose this month’s theme, I wasn’t sure what I was going for… I think I was thinking something free and and crazy and wild, you know, because we’ve been locked up for months and then with the protests… Life has been way too heavy…
MY LOOK
My look ended up not being quite as light-hearted as I’d planned. I saw this dress on HSN and immediately texted my sister to talk her into talking me out of buying it. I mean, it’s so not my usual style because it’s:
- A dress
- Low cut
- Short sleeved
But she was all “Do it!” So I did. And while the dress is more revealing than I’m used to, I do like it and will be keeping it.
Even though this dress is short sleeved, it’s really giving me Autumn vibes, so look for it when the weather gets a little cooler {I can’t wait to show you the matching headband}.
