First Day Jitters Instagram Style {In the Library}
Today was my first day at my new job. I was so incredibly nervous. The day began with me standing in front of my closet desperately trying to figure out what to wear… I ended up going with a pair of black flats with a bow on the toe. I wasn’t sure how much walking I’d be doing and the campus has a lot of hills. I was happy with my choice, I totally ended up doing a lot of walking. In the hot Missouri sun. He Gave Me Life {Faith}
Sometimes I think what my mirror sees and what my camera sees are two different people. My reflection is always young and smiling, full of energy and ready to take on the day. My photographic image is about 30 lbs overweight with the slightest hint of crows feet forming in the corners of my eyes. I, like most women, pick myself apart, not realizing that when I criticize myself, I’m criticizing my creator. I’m calling into question His handiwork.
