Ageless Style: Valentine’s Date

January was a crazy busy month. I’m hoping that February will be much more relaxed. I have a feeling it won’t be because, gosh, this is the second day of the month and I’m already stressed the heck out. Life and work are just kicking my butt right now, but I know this is just part of the cycle of life.

This month Kellyann asked us to share our Valentine’s Day looks. The Hubs and I usually don’t do anything for Valentine’s Day. We celebrate each other all year long, so it feels weird and forced to stress over one day out of the year…

That doesn’t mean I’m not a romantic. I am. Probably more than people would think…

MY LOOK

This sweater is way out of my comfort zone. For one, it’s incredibly form fitting and I tend to wear loser fitting clothes. I bought the sweater about a year ago but have yet to actually wear it anywhere other than the blog. In fact, I’m not really all that certain why I bought it. I like it, and I think I had an event in mind, but I’ll be darned if I can remember what it was…

I opted to wear my snake skin flats because I hurt my foot and haven’t been able to wear heels in a little over month. I think the flats give my look a bit more edge than a pair of plain black flats.

But, no lie, I cannot wait until I can get back into my heels.
