Happy Monday! How’re you guys doing? I’m doing well. I spent the weekend doing what I usually do: vegging in front of the TV. Did you happen to catch Lizzie Borden Took an Ax? It was on Lifetime and starred Christina Ricci, who took crazy to a whole nother level. And can I give a round of applause for the soundtrack? Totally kick butt.

And now for a few pics from last week:

Nikon D3100 {Living Outside the Stacks}

I keep holding out hope that at some point I’ll be able to take my What I Wore Wednesday pictures outside again. No such luck. It’s still too cold…

Coffee {Living Outside the Stacks}

Martin Luther King, jr.’s birthday. Thank you to all of the men and women who marched, sat down, stood up, were beaten, jailed, and lynched so that I can live the dream. It was not in vain.

Library Work {Living Outside the Stacks}

I had to work the evening shift {3 PM to midnight}, I absolutely hate it but I do enjoy shifting and shelving. I find it to be therapeutic.

52 Week Project {Living Outside the Stacks}

An outtake from my 52 Week Project: 2014 Edition. The theme was “Homeplace”. I was going for a vintage twenties feel to fit the décor in my home.

Hiding {Living Outside the Stacks}

There are times when I go to work and no one has anything to say to me, then there are days when I have to hide in my truck just so I can have a few minutes peace.

Coffee {Living Outside the Stacks}

I haven’t been able to fit in my jeans in months thanks to an extra 10 lbs. This was a happy day for me. Side note, the ring is from Annie Laurie’s Antiques.

Coffee {Living Outside the Stacks}

Yesterday, the hubs took me on a photo drive to take some pictures for Challenge Friday 2014. Yep, I’m participating in 3 photography challenges this year. Either I’m brave or crazy, we’ll know which at the end of the year.

What was the highlight of your week?

I’m linking up with:

  • 2014 Daily Selfie ~ Instagram: I’m doing this with a few of my Instagram friends. “Selfie” is open to interpretation, as long as there is part of your body in the photo, it counts. Use the hashtag #2014dailyselfie.
