Happy Monday! How was your weekend? Mine was absolutely wonderful: the sun was out, I disconnected from work, and I got to hang out with my family. Seriously, what more could I ask for? Not much, I tell ya.
Well, I’ve decided to revamp my 2014 Daily Selfie posts. I knew this would happen… But I’m tired of me. I know the point of the challenge is to document ourselves and our lives, to provide a visual memory of our feelings {be they good or bad}, but I just couldn’t keep it up. So, I’m going to share my favorite Instagram pictures from the previous week and tell the story behind them.

On Saturday, Miss 18 had First Steps, which is where first year college students begin the process of transitioning from high school seniors to college freshmen. I was fine until they started talking about Move In Day, then I felt my heart fall into my stomach.
And Mammarazzi was shut down. I took so many pictures during First Steps that the girls were ready to take my phone.
Drinking coffee is a big part of my day. I like the smell, the taste, the warmth. It’s comfort in a cup.
