Chambray Tunic Mustard Jeans and Animal Print Flats {living outside the stacks}

Hello! This is the beginning of a series about chambray tunics. I’ve had this chambray tunic {and the mustard pants} in my closet forever and I think I’ve worn it twice. Not cool. Especially when you consider how incredibly cute and comfortable this tunic is.

I’ll tell you, honestly, I have two reasons for not wearing the tunic:

  • my waist ~ I don’t like anything that emphasizes my {nonexistent} waist
  • I’m not a chambray shirt/tunic kind of girl

What a load of crock! I don’t have a waist, so this tunic is the perfect opportunity to create one using belts and I bought this tunic knowing that it’s chambray, so there had to have been something about it that I liked. Right? Right. And Pinterest totally agrees with me, I pinned a few chambray tunic/shirt outfits here.

I wasn’t sure about which bottoms to wear until I came across these pants in my closet. I bought these pants when we first moved to Georgia about a year ago and, sadly, this’ll probably be the last time I wear them. They’re too big. I’ve lost weight. Yay! So I’m not upset about the reason I won’t get to wear them, just sad that I didn’t wear them more. I mean, really, mustard pants rock! Not sure, check out my Pinterest board for mustard pants.

And ending with these animal print flats is a no brainer. Animal print really is the best neutral ever.
