Discover Limited Edition Art {Minted}

You guys, The Hubs and I are moving to Georgia! I know I’ve said it before but it’s still sinking in. It feels like I just announced that we were leaving Pennsylvania for Missouri and, now, here we are preparing to move again. People have asked me if I’m scared about relocating to a place where I don’t know anyone or if I’m nervous about not having a job yet {well, we are still 6 months out, so there’s still time on that one!}. The quick and easy answer is “No.”

For me, this is an opportunity for new beginnings and a fresh start. When we lived in Pennsylvania, our home was very bohemian: deep rich golds and browns and touches of olives and reds. Our Missouri home has a bit more of a cabin feel, with the wood covered ceiling and dark burgundy walls with hints of teal, cream, and brown. I want our next home be a showcase for all of the cool items The Hubs and I’ve found while antiquing. Yep, I’m already thinking about decorDon’t even have a house yet.

Ideally, I’d like to create a gallery wall with a mix some of my own photographs with professional art for an eclectic “found” feel. One of the places that I’ve been searching for potential pieces is minted. I know, you thought minted. was only about stationery and business cards, right? I did too. But, nope, they’ve got a beautiful selection of limited edition art created by independent artists.

Right now, I have my eyes on the following pieces:

I’d like all of them to matted and placed in the distressed charcoal stain frame. I absolutely adore distressed looking items, it adds character, don’t you think?

I also like that minted. offers design tips right there on the front page to help you get that designer look. Apparently, I’m right on track with my idea of mixing personal with purchased pieces. Yay, Me!
