When Bettye first invited me to join this group, I had no idea what I was signing up for… I thought is was just gonna be one of those things that I did for a few months and then bowed out gracefully. Well, here we are five years later and I’m still hanging in there. Admittedly, there’ve been a few months where life has lifed and I’ve not participated, yet, these ladies still welcome me back with open arms and, for that, I’m eternally grateful.
ABOUT WHERE BLOGGERS LIVE
Welcome to the monthly edition of Where Bloggers Live. It’s kind of like HGTV’s “Celebrities at Home,” but…Bloggers! Who doesn’t like to peek behind the scenes and see inside people’s homes? Over the next few months, we’ll share about our work spaces, home towns, and more!
I should note – because this is super important – the creative brain behind this project is Bettye at Fashion Schlub! Love her!

THE PROMPT: My Top 5 Posts
I have 177 posts in this series. ONE HUNDRED SEVENTY-SEVEN. Y’all, I’m gobsmacked. Like how did that even happen? I don’t even remember writing 177 posts. But, I guess it makes sense, it has been 5 years {and, honestly, I’m having a hard time believing that one too}. But the stats don’t lie.
EDITED: SO IT LOOKS LIKE MY STATS WERE INCLUDING NOT JUST THE ORIGINAL POSTS BUT ANY REFERENCES MADE TO THE WHERE BLOGGERS LIVE SERIES, SO THE 177 IS NOT ACCURATE. AH WELL. I’M STILL HAPPY TO HAVE STUCK WITH THESE LADIES FOR FIVE YEARS AND I HOPE THEY’LL KEEP ME AROUND FOR MANY MORE.
Over the past five years, I’ve written about a variety of topics, including our pets, my childhood, home decor, and travel plans. To highlight my most popular posts, I’ve gone through the 177 articles I’ve written during that time and selected the ones that received the highest number of comments:
- Where Bloggers Live: My Community {21 comments} – A photographic tour of my adopted home of Alexandria, Louisiana. Bonus look at how I work, from the COVID days.
- Where Bloggers Live: My Home {19 comments} – When people visit, they always say my house looks exactly like my closet, take a little peek and see if you agree. Bonus look at where I lay my head.
- Where Bloggers Live: My Closet {15 comments} – A peek inside my closet with tips on how I organize my clothes. Bonus look at some of my favorite outfits.
- Where Bloggers Live: My Favorite Things {15 comments} – Everyone knows I love coffee, but did you know I also enjoy a fancy cup of tea every now and then? Find out my favorite brand and flavor. Bonus look at my favorite books.
- Where Bloggers Live: Can’t Let Go {10 comments} – Much to my family’s chagrin, I still own one of my very first dolls; she’s been all over the world with me: the U.S., Italy, Korea, and everywhere in between. My family has said when the time comes, she’ll go in the casket with me. I’m OK with that. Bonus look at my favorite piece of furniture.
