Hi, I hope you had a great weekend. Mine was ok. I went and got a manicure and looked at cars. I’m thinking about getting rid of the Hummer. I know… I know… I said that’d never happen, but things change. Anyway, I was supposed to go visit my daughter, but we ended up having to reschedule. I’m excited about that visit, she and I are planning to do a photo shoot together. It’s going to be so much fun.
I wore this outfit to work early last week. It’s still incredibly hot outside, but the library is super cold so I always feel like I’m dressing for two different climates.
The Criss Cross top is light and airy for walking from my car to the library, but weighty enough to keep me comfortable in the library. The tie is a fun little accent that’s made to be worn tied or untied. Next time I wear the top, I’m going to go a little more casual and let the ties hang.
And the Pixie Pants are just fun. I mean, how can you not like black and white plaid pants? If you haven’t tried Pixie Pants yet, get yourself to Old Navy and get a pair. They’re super comfortable.
I think this top would look cute paired with a pencil skirt too, don’t you? I can also see it with a pair of loved in jeans and pumps.
The Pixie Pants, I think, would pair nicely with a fitted cardigan in a fun color like chartreuse. How would you wear them?
