Hi and happy Friday! Do you have anything planned for the weekend? We’re planning to visit my family in Mississippi. It’s been a few months since I’ve seen them and my mom had surgery a couple of weeks ago, so I need to check on her. And my nephews are itching to see me {I suspect they want money}.

Most of y’all already know I’m a big fan of The Golden Girls, but I’m also a big fan of Designing Women, which I’ve been binge watching for the last week. It’s on Hulu, if you’re a fan too. The story lines are so relevant that it’s creepy. And, not gonna lie, the episode where Suzanne is waxing poetically over Donald Trump is just ewwwwww…

The best smell in the world right now is Pecan Praline Coffee {ground or pods}. Trust me.
A group of co-workers and I were talking about soups and stews this week because all of a sudden Louisiana decided it wanted to get cold… Anyway, I shared my recipe for Italian Wedding Soup with them and I thought I’d share it with you all too. Do you have a favorite soup or stew?
I’m on the hunt for a new face moisturizer, do you have any suggestions? I have incredibly dry skin down the center of my forehead and around my nose. Like it’s so bad that my skin is flaking and peeling… I’m wondering if it’s a hormonal thing?
