I turned 51 on 10 March and, y’all, I still look around for the adult in the room and am gobsmacked when I realize I’m the freaking adult. 9|52: Re-Edit an Old Image
ORIGINAL EDIT When I originally edited this image, I wanted to keep with the boho feel of the whole shoot, which you can see starting here on Instagram. I kept the tones earthy and just a little on the gritty side, to fit the location {which was beautifully rustic and lush}. RE-EDIT I converted the image to a sepia tone and lifted the shadows and contrast to match the vintage feel of the cabin. THE STORY Honestly, there isn’t a story here. This was, by far, the hardest of the prompts. I didn’t want to take a picture of the sky, I mean, the sky is beautiful, but I wanted something that would contrast with the sky, like a tall building or a plane.
