Throwback Thursday: First Snow
I think this picture was taken around 1976ish. My little sister looks like she’s about a year old, and she was born in 1975. We were living in Texas at the time and it was our very snow. You can tell because we’re wearing lightweight jackets. Mom said we were a little puzzled but we enjoyed it. I wish I’d taken pictures of my kids the first time they saw snow. We were living in Pennsylvania at my mother-in-law’s house, and the kids were all gathered around the window, pointing excitedly. When they saw me, they exclaimed: “Milk, Mommy, milk!” I hollered. Throwback Thursday: First Snow
With the cold snap that’s gripping the nation, I thought it’d be fun to share a picture from my first snow. We were living in El Paso, Texas at the time, so I think my twin sister and I were about four or five and my younger sister was about one or two. Notice how we didn’t have gloves or “winter” coats.
