Originally known as Louisiana Ice & Electric Company, Cleco was founded in 1935 in Bunkie, Louisiana. The company transitioned to focus solely on electricity a decade later, becoming Central Louisiana Electric Company. They provide power to 295,000 customers across Louisiana’s 24 parishes.
JELD-WEN FIBER
A major manufacturing plant in Dodson, Louisiana, they specialize in producing decorative wood-fiber door facings and operates as one of the most technologically advanced wood fiber plants in the Jeld-Wen network.
ROYOMARTIN
RoyOMartin, founded in 1923 by Roy O Martin, Sr., began as a small sawmill in Alexandria, Louisiana. It has grown into one of the leading wood products manufacturers in the United States.
STELLA-JONES
Stella-Jones Corporation, founded in 1992, is a leading producer and marketer of pressure-treated wood products. The company supplies North America’s railroad operators with railway ties and timbers, and electrical utilities and telecommunications companies with utility poles.
SYRAH
Syrah is the first the first battery-grade natural graphite active anode material supplier in the U.S., supporting the growing EV industry. They’re in the process of expanding their facilities.
UTLX
Union Tank Car Company dates back to 1865, when the first generation tank car was introduced to transport petroleum products. In 1891, Union Tank Line was formed to operate the Standard Oil Company tank car fleet. UTLX has grown to become a leader in tank car manufacturing, leasing, and repair.
