1.On Friday I received a beautiful ‘Heart of Haiti’ pendant in the mail in exchange for a post that I’d written on behalf of Macy’s, as I read the thank you letter, I couldn’t help but to cry thinking about the artisans who create the pendants. These are women who create handmade works of art to support themselves and their children. Items range in price from about $8 to about $280. I’m not receiving any compensation for this, I just think this is a terrific cause. 2. I bribe my kids.
