Sometimes You Have to Take Quality Over Quantity
Last night as the last 1/2 hour of my temporary 3 to 11 shift at the library rolled around, I tweeted that I didn’t think I’d be able to survive without some caffeine and one of my favorite tweeters, @f8likemustard, asked me the following question: “Do you ever resent having to work nights @ the library? It would be hard for me; kids are so busy!” I had an immediate answer for her… Yes and no. I’ve lived in the Back Mountain for 13 years now and in that time I’ve started taking the beauty of this place for granted. This is a small community where everyone pretty much knows everyone and small town values are still upheld. I love that small town feel, especially when I’m looking for a place to just hang out and relax. I’m a coffee drinker. Big time. Happy Valentine’s Day!
My husband and I aren’t mushy people. In fact, we’re the people who make fun of mushy people. So we almost didn’t bother to celebrate Valentine’s Day but then I found out my friend, KB, was hosting a Valentine’s Day Dinner at her coffee shop.
