This year is a year of celebration for me. Not that I don’t celebrate every year, but this year I turned forty. Actually, I turned forty on yesterday and today I’m celebrating my eighteenth wedding anniversary. Yes, I realize I totally hosed myself on the gift department…but being married to my bff is the gift. Yeah, I’m totally gagging, ’cause we do not talk like that. We make fun of people who talk like that.
Anyway, I decided to celebrate my fortieth year by taking photos of myself. Because, you know, the weekly What I Wore Wednesday pictures aren’t enough… Anyway, here’s what I have so far:
1. January
I’m an overachiever. The doctor diagnosed me with both the flu annnd bronchitis.
2. February
Updating the blog because it doesn’t update itself. For the record, I don’t always look like that when I’m working but I was having a particularly good hair and makeup day and decided to commemorate it.
3. March
Eighteen years, y’all. It hasn’t always been easy… There’ve been times when I’ve thought no court in this country would convict me, but I’m glad we stuck it out. If you’d like to find out how we met, click here. P.S. what is up with my butt in that picture? Yes, that’s what I noticed.
