Weekend in Review: Week 13
Are we all agreed that we need a day between Sunday and Monday? It really feels like the weekend goes by too quickly…
Did you notice that I changed the title of this post? Well, I noticed it’s less about selfies and more about documenting my weekend and sharing the memories. I’ll be the first to admit that my life isn’t glamorous, nor is it always fun and exciting, but it’s my life and I truly believe nothing is ordinary…
My favorite coffee picture of the week.
I’m not sure why, but sometimes The Boy likes to stick his thumb on my forehead. This was one of those moments.
The always fabulous Zsa Zsa.
Do you remember these fuzzy little bunny banks? My mother bought my sisters and me one when we were little kids. When I saw this one at the Cape Girardeau Heritage Museum I had to have it.
I’ve been waiting for a long time to visit the Cape Girardeau Heritage Museum. I was so excited that it was opened on Saturday. We talked to Phyllis, a staff member, and Denise, a researcher, who’s doing research on African Americans and the history of Cape Girardeau. So fascinating! And speaking of fascinating, isn’t that cash register just cool?
As beautiful as the Mississippi River was on Saturday, oh my word, it was incredibly cold and windy. But we can never go down to the River Walk without actually visiting the river.
What was the highlight of your weekend?
I’m linking up with:
- 2014 Daily Selfie ~ Instagram: I’m doing this with a few of my Instagram friends. “Selfie” is open to interpretation, as long as there is part of your body in the photo, it counts. Use the hashtag #2014dailyselfie.
- Life Rearranged ~ Instafriday: Share the stories behind the filtered pictures. Link up on Fridays.
