Hi! How was your weekend? Mine was long and emotionally exhausting. My twins are seniors this year, so I’ve been trying to adjust to the idea of them not being home anymore. So very difficult. The Hubs, The Boy, and I spent a couple of days at Missouri S&T, where The Boy will be an engineering major in the Fall. I’m so not ready. I know I should be celebrating the fact that our jobs as parents have resulted in two young adults who’re ready to take on the world, but all I keep seeing are my babies. Leaving home. OK. Enough.
My favorite coffee picture from last week. The skirt, the jewelry, the colors, everything just screams Spring. And I’m so ready.
Is this not the most intense rainbow you’ve ever seen? Miss 18 came running out of her bedroom, yelling: “Mom, get your camera! Get your camera!” So worth the near heart attack.
So I’ve recently discovered an artisan named Dottie Angel. I adore everything about her: the granny chic clothes, the quirky home decor, and the handmade wares. In fact, I heart everything so much that I can even look over the random chickens.
I have a soft spot in my heart for old buildings, be they rundown barns or abandoned homes, they just capture my attention. For as long as we’ve lived here, I’ve been trying to get up the nerve to take a picture of this old barn, and I finally did it. I’m so happy.

Squeekerz. Don’t let the sweet face fool you. That dog is trouble.
Yesterday, The Hubs and I took The Boy to Missouri S&T where he’ll be enrolling as a freshmen in the fall. I’m so proud of him and so not ready for him and his sister to leave the nest. This was also my contribution to Instagram’s weekend prompt: #WHPHANDINHAND.
What was the highlight of your week?
