Hi! How are things on your side? We’ve been going through a cold spell over here and I am so. over. it. So I decided to bring a little color to my day. With a side of flowers.

At first glance, this may not look like a typical Daenel outfit, but it even without the flowers, the skirt has a handmade, eclectic vibe to it. And paired with the puffy sleeved mock neck sweater and brogues, the whole outfit fits right in with my creative personality.

I found this skirt at a thrift store a few years back. I was looking for a pencil skirt when I stumbled across this wool beauty. I loved the seam detail and the raw edge, but I thought it needed a little somethin’ somethin’. So I added the crochet flowers, handmade by yours truly.

WHERE I WORE IT

I wore this outfit to work. I didn’t have much going on, I just wanted to bring a little color to my day.

Sizing: I’m 5’4″ and a dress size 10 to 12 {M,L}. I wear a size 9.5 shoe

About the hair cut: I was trying to strip the burgundy color out of my hair and damaged it so badly that I had no choice but to cut it all off. I’m hoping that history repeats itself and my hair grows back quickly, because I’m so not a fan of my buzz cut.

I know I’ve cut it short before, but I really liked having long curly hair…

Have you ever ruined your hair? How’d you deal?
