As I was walking to the truck I caught The Hubs giving me “The Look”. I smiled at him and said “Whaaaat?” He nodded and said “You look nice.” swoon There’s something about being told you look nice by your husband that makes you stand a little taller and smile a little broader, amiright?
I think the new eyeglasses are a confidence booster as well. Nothing like being able to see the world around you…
I love denim maxi skirts. And have styled this one in the following two ways: work and bohemian. I’m a hippie at heart and would live in denim maxis if I could get away with it on a daily basis. Once it starts to get cooler, I’ll be pairing this skirt with a big ol’ chunky grandpa sweater and a pair of rugged ankle boots with tights and socks. And loads and loads of necklaces…
For this outfit, I wore a simple mustard cardi {an absolute MUST HAVE} with a brown and purple floral top. Both items have been in my closet forever. The owl was a spur of the moment Target purchase that has more than earned its keep. The shoes are comfortable and a little bit quirky. Gotta love Clark’s, right? And the skirt was purchased with a gift card from Amazon.com.
