THE AGELESS STYLE LINKUP
Hi, welcome to the Ageless Style Linkup. The linkup runs the first Tuesday of each month and features 10 women over the age of 40 styling an outfit based on one theme, and, because we’re all so different, each theme interpretation is different. Each month, one of the co-hosts invites a guest co-host to join us for the linkup. Our goal is to show you that style is ageless…
This month’s theme is: “Green” and was chosen by Jonet from Fabulously Chic Over 50. Scroll to the bottom of the post to meet our guest cohost, Eugenia, from Age of Grace. Then make sure you visit my cohosts to see how they styled their puffer vests.
MY LOOK
CONTRARY TO MY EXPRESSION, I AM NOT ANGRY OR UPSET. I DON’T KNOW WHY I LOOK SO HOSTILE. LOL
I don’t have a lot of green in my closet, I like the color but it’s just not one that gravitate towards. You know what I mean? Like, if I see something I like and there are several colors, including green, I’m more than likely to buy one of the other colors. I do have to qualify that statement though. I’m currently on the hunt for a chunky knit button front Kelly green cardigan. So if you see one, let me know…
So with that whole thing above, doesn’t it seem odd that I would have a green bag? Not really. I see this green as incredibly neutral and have been known to wear it with just about every color under the sun. In fact, that’s one of the reasons I picked it up. That, and the safari feel of the bag. I thought it’d look great with a pair of khaki pants and a white sweater. Neither of which I own. Kanye shrug I do see a little shopping in my future.

GUEST CO-HOST
Eugenia {Age of Grace}
You can read all about Eugenia’s green outfit here. Here’s why she chose her outfit:
My green theme goal, I chose the trending monochromatic look. An online source says, in fashion terms, monochromatic dressing means wearing separates of one color that has different textures and similar shades of that same color for an overall tonal look.
Doesn’t she look fab? I love all of the color. And, gosh, how fab are those pants? You can get to know more about Eugenia by following her on social media:
