THE AGELESS STYLE LINKUP

Nine ladies, forty and over, show you that style doesn’t have an age limit. A themed linkup takes place on the first Tuesday of every month.

This month’s theme is: STYLING A UTILITY JACKET {OR CARDIGAN}.

So, try as I might, I could not find an actual utility jacket. Maybe Albany, Georgia isn’t the fashion hub I thought it to be? I don’t know… But I do own a cardigan that has some military influences, so I decided to use it as an alternative.

I decided to pair my cardigan with this cute little tee shirt dress that I purchased from a store called Relics to Riches. I’ve always wanted a tee shirt dress because of the versatility {think about this dress paired with a chunky sweater, tights, and funky boots for winter}, so finding this one for $20 made my heart all kinds of happy. Because the library is so very chilly, I decided to wear leggings, which have become a go~to look for me in the last year or so.

Did you notice the hair cut? About a month ago I got a wild hair and decided to chop all my hair off {actually, I’ve been pinning pixie cuts and teeny weeny afros on Pinterest for months}, the next day I decided that I needed to have it professionally shaped up, so I found a beautician and had her shape me up. I’m totally digging this shorter look — so very easy to style.

And, last but not least, that necklace. The Hubs and I were in this sweet little store in Americus and The Hubs pointed to the necklace and said: “That’s you!” So it came home with us. I love that he knows me so well.

Anyway, do you own a utility jacket or a military inspired cardigan? How do you wear yours? Do you wear it boho like I did or are you more structured in your style?
