I actually have two songs that can bring me to tears at the drop of a hat: Troubles of this World and Here I am to Worship.
Troubles of this World, sung by Mahalia Jackson during the funeral scene in my favorite movie, Imitation of Life. It was also my father’s favorite song and was played during his funeral.
Here I am to Worship sung by Heather Headley. When I listen to this song, I just visualize Christ suffering all sorts of torment, being nailed to the cross and then rising after three days for me ~ I can’t help but to weep way down in my soul….
