Hi! How’re you? Honestly, I’m exhausted. But happy. My girls drove in from college for the weekend and made my momma heart overflow. This was their first time driving home from college by themselves, so I was all kinds of nervous and proud and worried and excited. When they arrived they told me driving home was so much easier than driving around their busy little town with all of its narrow one way streets. But, you know, they’re my babies.
When we moved to Georgia from Missouri, the one thing I told The Hubs that I wanted in the new house is a coffee bar {a space specifically for the making of coffee and/or tea}. I’d originally purchased a long cabinet that would provide storage but it was too big for the space {always measure before you buy; it’s now my bedroom dresser}. So we moved the coffee bar to a space under a cabinet but I wanted more. So now the coffee bar is in the attached desk space next to the kitchen. I love having it here. It’s conveniently located and I have plenty of storage for my coffee things.
To replace my kitchen desk, I created office space in the back of the family room. It’s bright and airy and surrounded by windows on all sides. It’s hard not to get anything done in here.
Squeekerz also has space in my new office. Truth be told, he has space all over the house. The girls were laughing because he has a basket {yes, our dog sleeps in a basket} in every room.
