My sisters and I grew up in Italy, where my dad was a member of the U.S. Air Force as well as the pastor of the Gospel Service at Vicenza. I don’t know how much you know about being a minister, but it involves a lot of talking and “being there” for people. Well, when you’re a kid, that can get exhausting and boring. Often times, we were left to sit in the car or wander around the church while our parents talked to people. I also have wonderful memories of my grandmother, sitting at her kitchen table, cigarette in one hand and a coffee cup in the other, talking smack while she, my aunt, and I watched Dynasty. Anyway, I thought I’d share some of my favorite coffee t-shirts and a little about how my love of coffee started.

Are there any foods or drinks that remind you of when you were a kid? Is there a food you hated as a kid that you love now?
