Sunday Funday {living outside the stacks} #LOTSLoves

Hi! I hope you had a great weekend. We did. We went to Texas to support our granddaughter’s dance team fundraiser and to celebrate our grandson’s fifth birthday. This is the reason we moved to Louisiana – the ability to be close to our grandkids and be a part of their lives on a regular basis. You can see pictures from our trip on Instagram.

Anyway, here are some things that I’ve enjoyed this week:

  1. Did you watch the season finale of The Handmaid’s Tale? What is June planning/thinking? I’m so nervous for the punishment she’s gonna face, especially after seeing what those men did to Serena. Anyway, what’re you gonna watch while Handmaiden is on hiatus? I’ve found the cutest show: Life Sentence. It stars Lucy Hale as Stella, a young woman who finds out that she’s been cured of terminal cancer. With her life ahead of her, she must deal with the consequences of decisions made by herself and her family when she didn’t think she was going to survive. I’m watching it on Netflix. Love it!
  2. Whenever I buy coffee, I like to buy one that The Hubs likes {donut shop – any brand} and something different. This month, I tried Pecan Praline by Community Coffee and insert eye roll it’s delicious! Especially if you’re looking for an after dinner coffee — I sweeten mine with brown sugar and a little cream. It tastes just like the candy!
  3. I’m currently reading Amanda Wakes Up by Alisyn Camerota. It’s about a news reporter and the what it takes to make it as a top anchor. It’s like getting a sneak peek behind the scenes of my favorite morning shows. No lie, I’m trying to pin the characters to the people.

What’re you loving this week? Please feel free to share in the comments below.

Wishing you a great week ahead,
