Ramen with Egg and Shrimp
Not in any way authentic Ramen, just something I threw together and wanted to share because it was so good. INGREDIENTS 1 package Ramen {any flavor} 1 egg 5 or 6 shrimp {deveined} 2 cups of water Everything but the Bagel Seasoning DIRECTIONS Bring water to a boil and add shrimp. Cook until shrimp are pink, then add the Ramen. Boil for two minutes. Stir in the seasoning package. Turn off the stove and carefully add the egg. Do not stir or break the egg {it may be easier to crack the egg into a cup first}. Carefully cover the egg with Ramen. Let sit for 1 minute. The hot…

Abandoned Egg {This or That Thursday}
The hubs found the nest under the lid on our propane tank. I’m sure by now that there’s probably nothing in the shell but y’all know my fear of birds (shell or not) so I didn’t touch anything to find out. And, omg, so many feathers on the nest! Egg~Head {Shoot. Edit. Submit.}
The theme for week 5 of Project 52 is Surreal. And I had some really great ideas but I couldn’t figure out how to go through with the execution, so last night, this was what I came up with: I merged a picture of myself and a cracked eggshell using Photoshop Elements 10, then I applied the Orton Effect. I wish I had lightened the colors a little so you could see the grass and everything, but I think the darkness gives it a haunting surreal quality. What do you think?
