Not in any way authentic Ramen, just something I threw together and wanted to share because it was so good.
INGREDIENTS
- 1 package Ramen {any flavor}
- 1 egg
- 5 or 6 shrimp {deveined}
- 2 cups of water
- Everything but the Bagel Seasoning
DIRECTIONS
- Bring water to a boil and add shrimp. Cook until shrimp are pink, then add the Ramen.
- Boil for two minutes. Stir in the seasoning package.
- Turn off the stove and carefully add the egg. Do not stir or break the egg {it may be easier to crack the egg into a cup first}.
- Carefully cover the egg with Ramen. Let sit for 1 minute. The hot water and Ramen will poach the egg.
- Pour into serving dish and season with Everything but the Bagel Seasoning.
- Enjoy!
I shared this picture with my daughter who is a vegetarian and she suggested swapping out the shrimp and eggs for vegetables. Shrimp, vegetables, beef, pork, any of those would make a delicious alternative.
