Is your church putting on a Christmas pageant this year? I remember when I was little, the pageant was the highlight of the Christmas season for me. I always begged to play Mary and, one year, they let me. The little Nativity set above reminds me of our church pageants with all the kids decked in bathrobes to portray wise men or shepherds, girls clothed in white sheets with glittery wings and, of course, the requisite kid with cotton balls portraying the sheep.
