My family and I are big fans of The Walking Dead. I’m not really even certain how this started because, initially, I was totally skeeved by all of the flying brain matter and snot streams now I’m all Team Daryl Dixon. We actually plan family time around this TV show ~ we root for our favorite characters, sigh loudly when the black guy dies, and sigh even louder when he’s replaced by another black guy. Things That Leave Me Scratchin’ My Head {Coffee Talk}
1. It feels like every week there’s a new story about child sex abuse/murder/kidnapping. This week the news centers around the Boy Scouts and their so~called “Pervert Files”. It looks like they had the same policy as the Catholic Church and Penn State when it came to dealing with child predators… Why is it that organizations prefer to protect their reputations rather than protect the children who’ve been entrusted with their care? My honest~to~goodness~no~holds~barred opinion on this subject is that any and everyone who hurts a child should be put to death. No appeal. No languishing on Death Row for years. Just kill them. And anyone who protects or covers…
