I am so completely and utterly done with Winter. Like fantasizing about warmer weather on the islands over it. I go to bed and wake up thinking praying that this’ll be the day that the cold weather breaks and we’ll reach the turning point…
Since I can’t exactly force warm weather to come our way, I thought I’d share an outfit that I’m looking forward to wearing when the weather finally does break:
Cardigan
From Modcloth
I absolutely adore this knee length cardigan. Long cardigans are my go~to when the weather starts to warm up and I can ditch the coat. And, ummm, this cardi has the word “coffee” in it, how can I not?
Top
From Anthropologie
Normally, I don’t wear skinny strap tops {I’m pretty busty} but I could totally rock this layered over a navy tank, which would allow me to make sure the girls are properly supported. Seriously, isn’t this tank just gorgeous?
Bracelets
From Sloan + Themis
From QVC
I love the look of layered bracelets. They add a lot of interest to my morning coffee pictures on Instagram. wink And, gosh, who doesn’t like arm candy? I like to mix my bracelets with some vintage silver pieces that I inherited from The Hub’s grandmother.
Jeans
From HSN
I’ve been asked if I wear jeans. I do. My preference is distressed boyfriend jeans {I think they’re incredibly sexy but in a low key kind of way} which is why I don’t wear them very often. It’s just hard to make distressed jeans work for the library. But this pair from Hot in Hollywood would be a perfect addition to my weekend wardrobe.
Bag
This Clayton bag by Dooney and Bourke is quite possibly the best bag I own. It’s heavy as heck and big as a small child but it’s worth the visits to the chiropractor. I kid. Kind of. But I am serious about my love of this bag. It’s so versatile ~ I can wear it crossbody or on the crook of my arm all La Di Da Pinkies Up Style.
Shoes
From Sseko Designs
How cute is that bootie? I have a pair of Sseko Sandals that I absolutely adore, so I can only imagine how much more I’d love wearing the booties.
What’re you looking forward to wearing when the cold weather breaks?
