As the blogger and photographer behind Living Outside the Stacks, I independently select and write about stuff I love and things I think you’ll enjoy too. Living Outside the Stacks has affiliate and advertising partnerships so I get revenue from sharing this content and from your purchase. Thank you for your support.
Hey, y’all, hey! How’s it going? Things are going well here. It’s finally starting to warm up, so you know I’m happy. I was not made for the cold.
WHAT I WORE
This is one of my favorite Zuri dresses. The colors and pattern just make me happy. And the fact that it’s sustainably made is a bonus.
Lola decided to hop into the picture, while Bleu is taking a little snooze. On a totally unrelated note, that wall behind me is on its way to becoming a gallery wall. Rather than going out and purchasing all of the art at once, I decided to find pieces that speak to me. Of course, that means I’ll have bare spots until I find what I want. I think it’ll mean more that way. Once it’s finished, I’ll give you another tour of my office and reading nook.
WHERE I WORE IT
I attended the grand opening and portrait unveiling at The Central Louisiana African American Culture & Heritage Center at the Martin Luther King, Jr. Branch of the Rapides Parish Library. The library staff did an incredible job of celebrating the rich cultural heritage and contributions of African Americans to Cenla.
