I’m OK. It’s Wednesday night and I’m sitting here watching HSN for inspiration. Do you do that? I watch the fashion and accessories shows on the home shopping channels to see how they style different pieces. I also like the conversations that the hosts have with their guests, sometimes they’re pretty funny.…

We’re almost finished with our first full week of classes and when I tell y’all that I’ve been busy, I’ve been busy. January 2025 Wrap-Up

Did 2025 have the worst beginning ever or what? And it seems to be spiraling towards the ground at a dizzying pace. Part of me wants to totally check out, but the other part of me knows I need to pay attention. I also refuse to be held hostage by the crazy that pops off every single day. And, much like when my kids were little, I felt the need to go school shopping. I bought a new planner, some pens, and, of course, a new dress.…

Living Outside the Stacks has affiliate and advertising partnerships so I get revenue from sharing this content and from your purchase. Thank you for your support. I attended the LOUIS Users Conference {LUC} last week and, as always, it was such a good time. This was also the first year that I’ve ever presented. Actually, this was my first library presentation ever. I know, how can that be, given that I’ve been a librarian for over twenty years? I’ve always wanted to present, but…

Living Outside the Stacks has affiliate and advertising partnerships so I get revenue from sharing this content and from your purchase. Thank you for your support. How fun is my suitcase? You can see a little bit of it in the trunk of my car in the picture. It’s a Betsy Johnson piece that I found years ago at Marshall’s. They had a smaller under seat suitcase that I routinely kick myself for not buying. I didn’t think I’d need it. I was looks…
