THE AGELESS STYLE LINKUP

Hi, welcome to the Ageless Style Linkup. The linkup runs the first Tuesday of each month and features 10 women over the age of 40 styling an outfit based on one theme, and, because we’re all so different, each theme interpretation is different. Each month, one of the co-hosts invites a guest co-host to join us for the linkup. Our goal is to show you that style is ageless…

This month’s theme is: “Living Coral” or “Pressed Rose” and was chosen by Kellyann from This Blonde’s Shopping Bag.  Scroll to the bottom of the post to meet our guest cohost, Kim, from Fierce Fashion Blog {Kim is also my Style Imitating Art co-host, so make sure you pop by this post and check out our inspiration piece}. Then make sure you visit my cohosts to see how they styled this oh so romantic color.

MY LOOK

I wasn’t sure which color I wanted to wear. I’m not really a pink girl, but I have two very pretty pink tops that I considered wearing, but – at the last minute – I decided to wear the coral top. It happened to be a particularly warm day, and my pink tops are longed sleeved, so the decision was made for me.

I’m a big fan of coral and olive together. I just think the colors look fun and kinda hipster {my kids tease me about my “bohemian hipster” tendencies}.

Anyway, I’m looking forward to seeing what color my co-hosts chose to wear – they always blow me away with their interpretations.

I’m so happy Kim chose to join us for this month’s theme. I seriously think the Spring Pantone colors were chosen with her in mind — they just look beautiful on her. Side note: Kim is also one of my Style Imitating Art co-host, check out this week’s post for the inspiration piece.
