Hi, everyone! Hope y’all are having a great week so far. I am – I signed my offer letter for my new job as Director of Library Services at a local community college. I’m both excited and nervous — I’ve never been in charge of a library before. But I’m ready to take on the challenge. And we got to spend some time with our new grandbaby and the rest of the grandkids. Moving to Louisiana has been the best thing ever!
I wore this outfit to run some errands with The Hubs a couple of Saturdays ago. Normally, I’m not a fan of sleeveless tops but this top just spoke to me. It’s all girly and sexy without being too much of either. And the mauvy-pink is so far out of my color comfort zone that I decided to give it a try.
Because the top is sheer, I chose to wear a strapless bra with it. I don’t know about you, but I have a hard time with strapless bras. They either slip down or squish things that shouldn’t be squished. But I happened to be in Target one day and saw this convertible strapped bra and decided to give it a try.
You guys, it works perfectly! There was no slippage. It didn’t feel uncomfortable and my girls stayed where they belong. The bra wasn’t expensive either {less than $25}. I’m wearing a tan one, but I plan to go back for the black one.
The jeans are a super cute pair of flare legs that I think can be dressed up or down. I love the vintage wash and the length {great for pairing with either wedges like I have here or flip flops like I have here}.
They’re a pull up styling, so they do require a bit of wiggle to pull on, but once they’re on OH. MY. WORD. They’re the most comfortable jeans ever. The material is super soft and molds to my curves.
