Little Black Dress {Living Outside the Stacks}

Happy Wednesday! I hope you’re having a great week so far. I had to work the evening shift at the library last night. deep sigh I don’t do well with that shift. It feels like it throws me off kilter. Other than that, nothing major has happened this week. I’m not complaining though. I need a week of nothing.

Last week, I had a kinda bad time of it so I did what every girl does… I cut and colored my hair. You can’t really tell {and as much as I heart y’all, it was just too cold to go outside} but it’s a deep burgundy color: Chocolate Cherry by Feria. This is my go to color when I need a change. It’s dramatic, sexy, and fun all at the same time. And it’s one of those colors that kinda makes you think, is her hair burgundy? Noooo, maybe it’s just a dark brown…

Cardigan ~ OldDress ~ KmartNecklace, Tights, and Boots ~ TargetI wore this outfit to church on Sunday. My inspiration was this dress that I found on Pinterest. I like the simplicity of the outfit with the mix of colors. Do you remember when wearing brown and black together was a no~no? I had to add tights because, well, it was a little too cool to go bare legged. Again, I like the color play. Next time I wear this, I think I need a wider belt. Otherwise, everything was perfect.
