I love a good challenge, especially when it’s hosted by librarians. Add in clothes and I’m all in.
The first color up is “vivacious”: which is described as magenta. The whole time I was looking for something to wear, all I kept hearing was Blanche Deveraux from The Golden Girls talk about how she uses magenta to describe her mood when she’s not quite blue with depression and not quite green with envy…
I think I kind of understand where Blanche was coming from… Magenta is one of those colors that isn’t quite happy but not really sad either. Or maybe it has the potential to go either way, depending upon the colors it’s paired with. Like our emotions. My emotions.
Today was one of those days that had the potential to go either way: magenta sad or magenta happy. It was magenta happy. I was able to help a couple of students find some information they needed, my meetings went well, overall, I had a blessed and happy day.
How about you? Was your day magenta sad or magenta happy?
