Pantone~Inspired Fall Color Challenge: Day 5 {In the Closet}
Not only am I a day late and a dollar short, but I’m cheating too… Fridays are Spirit Day at the University and it’s Homecoming Weekend, no way could I not wear our school colors. Unfortunately for me, our colors and the Pantone challenge color for day 5 are not even closely related sooo…. The challenge color was “Acai”, which is described as a purple~y shade. Yay! Purple is my absolute favorite color ever. When I first saw this skirt at the store, I knew it had to be mine. The problem was, it wasn’t actually a skirt. It’s a dress. A strapless dress. Pantone~Inspired Fall Color Challenge: Day 1 {In the Closet}
I love a good challenge, especially when it’s hosted by librarians. Add in clothes and I’m all in. The first color up is “vivacious”: which is described as magenta. That night as we were driving home, we realized that I had her boots and her stroller in my car, so we turned around the next…

Family Movie Night: Change of Plans
Has your life worked out the way you planned? I know mine sure didn’t. When I was younger, I thought I’d graduate from high school, go to college and begin a career as a globe~trotting journalist or spy. Instead, I graduated from high school, joined the Army, got married, had 4 children and became a librarian. But, you know what, sometimes the most unexpected surprises come when your plans get changed. A few weeks ago, Modern Moms provided me with the opportunity to preview a movie called Change of Plans the next movie in Proctor & Gamble’s and Walmart’s successful Family Movie Night. What an awesome opportunity! This movie shows…

Coffee Talk: The Jensen Project
Disclosure: I did not receive any compensation for this post, I just think it’s great that Proctor & Gamble and Walmart sponsor Family Movie Night. However, my husband is employed by Proctor & Gamble.
