I like to think I’m brave but I’m not. At least not when it comes to taking out my camera in public spaces. Even at tourist spots, I get nervous when I pull out out my camera and start shooting. So this week’s theme for the 365 Project: 2013 Edition was particularly challenging. We had to go out and capture street scenes; impromptu pictures that tell a story. Basically, a moment out of a stranger’s life. So intimidating.
For this first picture, I sat in the parking lot across the street from the gas station and started snapping away. I felt like a total creeper but I like the way the car lights reflect off the wet concrete. And, if you look carefully at the top right hand corner, you’ll see a UFO.
