Remember when you were a kid and you used to play “Tag”? So. Much. Fun. Well, now I’m playing the grown~up bloggy version of “Tag”. Someone tags you and then you have to answer a series of questions and then tag other folks. Unlike in elementary school, I’ve been tagged by two people: Lisa from It Keeps Getting Better {if you haven’t visited her blog, you really ought to, she has the most adorable children ever} and Stacy from A Life Well Lived {if you need inspiration, I recommend adding her to your reader}. Because I was tagged by two people, I’m combining the rules and the questions. I’m a rule breaker, like that.
First, let’s take care of the rules {‘cause all games have rules, right?}:
- Post the rules.
- Fill in the form below.
- Share 7 random things about yourself.
- Tag 7 other bloggers and let them know that you’ve tagged them.
THE FORM
1. Name your favorite song.
I Give Myself Away by William McDowell. It talks about giving yourself to God so He can use you. Powerful song. If you’ve never heard it, you can click on the song’s title and go to YouTube to view the video.
2. When was the last time you exercised and what did you do?
According to the handy dandy Noom app on my phone, it’s been over 45 days. I used to do the Wii Zumba, it was seriously fun but then Christmas happened.
3. One thing you will do {or try to do} this year that you’ve never done before.
The hubs is always saying “Do or do not. There is no try.” Yes, he gets his wisdom from Yoda. I’d like to have something profound here but I got nothing. I used to want to run a marathon but I think I’m good with watching other people do it.
4. What’s your guilty pleasure?
Coffee with the hubs. I’m a big~time coffee drinker and I love all those chi~chi coffee places but the hubs is a plain coffee kinda guy, so when he started going with me to visit different coffee houses, it was like our own little getaway…. We sit, drink coffee and solve the world’s problems.
5. If you could go anywhere in the world to explore and visit, where would it be?
I’d love to go to Jerusalem and walk where Jesus walked. I just think that would be an overwhelming awe inspiring trip. And if I couldn’t make it there, I guess the next best place would be The Holy Land Experience in Florida.
6. What’s your favorite movie?
Imitation of Life, the 1959 version but I will watch the 1934 version when it’s on. It’s a story about race, motherhood, friendship, romance, making ends meet, etc. Every time I watch it, I cry.
7. What book would you recommend for 2012?
Hands down, Sarah’s Key by Tatiana De Rosnay. You can read my review here. This book will have you weeping. Just thinking about how mean and cruel humans can be towards each other…
