Pantone~Inspired Fall Color Challenge: Day 4 {In the Closet}
Today’s color is “Carafe”, which looks a lot like brown to me. I assume that this is somehow related to the carafe in a coffee maker, so I figured why not match a rich dark roasted coffee bean? I absolutely love coffee. I love the taste, the smell, the feel, the sight… It’s just a feast for the senses. So finding something in a deep rich brown was incredibly easy for me. Can you believe we’re at the end of the challenge? Where did the time go? Is winter really just around the corner? *sigh* I’d like to thank our older full hosts for putting this challenge together ~ great job, ladies. Shades of Autumn Photo Challenge: Brown
Without this challenge, I never would have noticed how many beautiful shades of brown there are in nature. There are deep dark shades that border on black, rich sables, sensuous chocolates and mouth watering caramels. There are even shades that have just enough green that in the right light they look olive. Yes, this week I’ve learned to appreciate the beauty of brown… And, last but not least, this one of my pastor’s daughter with her grandfather… It wasn’t taken for this challenge but I absolutely love it.
