Congratulations to the Hubs {In the Family Room}
Effective 1 June, the hubs will be promoted to a Band 2 Manager at Proctor & Gamble! I am so incredibly proud of him. He started P&G as a technician with dreams of becoming a tech to manager promotee. That dream came true on 1 July 2011 {you can read about that here}. Congratulations, Tuck! And the “For Sale” Sign is Up
Even as I announced the hubs promotion at work and the family’s relocation to Missouri, things still felt a bit surreal, kinda like I was talking about events that were happening to someone else. Today, it happened to me. I signed the contracts and watched as the realtors put a “For Sale” sign in my front yard. For years, the hubs and I have watched “House Hunters” on HGTV and snickered as the wives shed tears as they talked about leaving their homes. Today I became that wife and my husband snickered. So did my kids. And the realtors. I couldn’t help it. You don’t know how long I waited…

Congratulations to the Newest P&G Manager {In the Family Room}
Today the hubs is officially a manager at Proctor & Gamble. And the kids and I couldn’t be prouder of him and his accomplishments. When the hubs and I got out of the Army 15 years ago, we didn’t know what we were going to do or how we were going to support ourselves, the only thing we knew was that our family had to stay together. We decided to move to the hub’s hometown in Pennsylvania. He’ll dispute this factoid but our intended term was for a period of no more than 5 years; we’ve been here for 15 years… At the time, I was pregnant with baby number…
