    My family and I are big fans of The Walking Dead. I’m not really even certain how this started because, initially, I was totally skeeved by all of the flying brain matter and snot streams now I’m all Team Daryl Dixon.     Touring Historic Mississippi

    We’ve been spending the week with the parentals in Mississippi, which has been a lot of fun. We arrived on Wednesday and immediately slipped into a state of relaxation ~ like the hubs says, sometimes you really need to just get away from your life… So this morning, he asked if I’d like to take a driving tour of the historic part of town since neither of us had ever been down that way.     Hangin’ in Mississippi with the Parentals

    Soooo this is the longest moving trip ever.  Ever.  But it’s also been a lot of fun.  The kids and I left Pennsylvania Saturday and flew to Alabama where my dad picked us up and drove us to his home in Mississippi. The flight itself was relatively uneventful.  Unless you consider the fact that none of our gates were listed on our boarding passes or on the monitors and we had three gate changes in Detroit.  But I’m glad my kids got to see some of the hinks that come with flying.  I like for them to see how even the best laid plans are subject to change, it gives…
