Happy Resurrection Sunday!
Matthew: 28:6 He is not here; he has risen, just as he said. Come and see the place where he lay. Jesus offered himself up as a sacrifice for my sins. But the redemption wasn’t in the crucifixion, it was in the resurrection. Jesus stated that he would die but that he would be raised up from the dead three days later. He is Risen {In the Church}
Happy Resurrection Sunday! Today I’m happy to proclaim that my redeemer lives. And because He lives, I have the gift of eternal life. This gift can be yours too. To receive it, all you have to do is confess with your mouth and believe with your heart that Jesus is Lord, then you are saved {Romans 10:9~10}.

Later that afternoon, I checked a couple of my usual online haunts (Facebook, Friendfeed and Twitter) to see what people were up to and was shocked at the level of meanness that people were showing towards those who observe Easter/Resurrection Sunday. Out of respect and love…

No Greater Love
John 3:16 “For God loved the world so much that he gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life.” John 15:13 There is no greater love than to lay down one’s life for one’s friends. As parents, we’re conditioned to say that we would sacrifice everything for our children, even our own lives. But would you sacrifice your life for a friend? For a complete stranger? Would you, knowing that your friend, was guilty of a crime, go before the judge and say “Your Honor, here I am, I’ll take my friend’s punishment”? That’s what Jesus did for…
