Hey, y’all, hey. How’s it going? This has been quite a month for my family. If you follow me on Instagram, you know that my daughter has had two mini strokes in the last 30 days. Thankful to Him that she has recovered with minimal issues. We’ve met with her doctors and her prognosis looks good, so we’re eternally grateful to Him for His mercy and grace.

It has been a long time since I’ve written a style post and, honestly, I’ve missed it. Y’all know how much I love my clothes. And shoes.

Denim Jacket – Target | Necklace – Old | Jumpsuit – Kantha Bae | Boots – Old

I wore this to work. It’s super comfortable and easy to get around in. And I love the enormous pockets, they’re great for holding my camera gear when I’m taking pictures. The colors and pattern also fun on rainy days when everything is dark and dreary. While I chose to wear boots on this day, most of the time, I wear sandals or clogs with my jumpsuit.

Headwrap – Target | Cardigan – Candace Cameron Bure for QVC | Dress – Old Navy | Clogs – Dr. Scholl’s for QVC {similar}

I wore this outfit while running errands and visiting my daughter in the hospital. I rarely wear dresses, but when I saw this one at Old Navy, I knew it was coming home with me. In fact, I ended up purchasing two. I like that it’s a baby doll style that I can layer with an extender {as I’ve done in the picture} or with jeans. The cardigan is the perfect neutral color, it goes with everything and it has the prettiest little feminine details like ruffles along the wrist and a “V” neck. And y’all know I’m all about clogs. These are crazy comfortable and can be worn with dresses, jeans, or shorts.

Jumpsuit -Old {similar} | Shoes – Converse

As you can tell, I love a jumpsuit. It’s a one and done look. They can be dressed up or down, depending upon layering pieces and accessories. I know some people are like but then I’m all naked when I go to use the bathroom. Not really. If you’re concerned about modesty, wear a tank or a cami. I always do and have never felt awkward while in the rest room. I’ve also never had issues with making it to the bathroom on time.

Denim Jacket – Target | Gonna Shine Maxi Dress – Kantha Bae | Leggings – Old | Shoes – Old {similar}

I wore this outfit to work. People think boho can’t be worn to work, but it really can be. It mostly depends on your office dress code and how you accessorize your look. It was a casual day for me, but if I wanted to dress it up, I’d change out the denim jacket for a blazer and either go bare legged or wear tights instead of leggings. I really do try to make sure that everything I own can be worn to work.

Logo Tank – Lori Goldstein for QVC | Extender – Angel Heart Boutique {similar} | Jeans – Old {similar}

I wore this outfit to run errands. I can’t get over the number of compliments I received on my top and my jeans. While I’ve opted to layer my top and extender over jeans, I could easily have worn this as a dress with a pair of flats. Extenders are hands down one of my favorite wardrobe workhorses. I wear tanks all the time, but when I really want to make an outfit pop, I add an extender and call it a day. I cannot recommend these highly enough.

Cardigan – Candace Cameron Bure for QVC | Dress – Old {similar} | Shoes – Logo by Lori Goldstein

I wore this to work. There wasn’t anything going on, I just wanted to dress it up a bit. I love love love a fit and flare dress. There’s just something so feminine about the way it hugs the body without being too tight. And, y’all, this dress has pockets. It couldn’t be more perfect.

Melody Top – Kantha Bae | Jeans – Old | Clogs – Mia {similar}

This is another Kantha based work outfit. Super comfortable, colorful, and easy to wear. You really can’t ask for more than that.

Jumpsuit – Zia Stella | Clogs – Mia {similar}

This jumpsuit is one of my favorite pieces. It’s so roomy and comfortable. It also has enormous pockets which I love and, seriously, isn’t the pattern just so, well, lovely? This is another piece that can be dressed up or down with a blazer or a cardigan. In the winter, it can be paired with a turtle neck or a bulky sweater.

ABOUT A WEEK OF OUTFITS

I’ve missed blogging. I’ve missed sharing outfit posts. This was the way that I stayed connected to people. Somewhere along the way, I lost that connection. Actually, I think it’s when I removed myself from the linkups. I needed a break but I didn’t realize how much I’d miss it. So this is my way of easing my way back into sharing outfit posts and reconnecting with my blogging buddies.

Sizing: I’m 5’4″ and a dress size 10 to 12 {M,L}. I wear a size 9.5 shoe.

Come back next Wednesday for another week of style…
