You guys, this week has been so full of heartbreak, sadness, and frustration. I really don’t have the words to express my horror at the massacre in Orlando, the baby’s death at Disney, and the other needless suffering that has happened but hasn’t been broadcast on the news. I’m just so very tired of it all.
The only thing I can do is offer up the words of my favorite blessing from Numbers 6:22~26:
The LORD bless you
and keep you;
the LORD make his face shine on you
and be gracious to you;
the LORD turn his face toward you
and give you peace.
Amen.
