A few weeks ago, the hubs suggested that we drive to the lake and take some pictures.  This was one of the best ideas he’d had in a long time.  The lake was incredibly beautiful and watching people fish was relaxing.

Huntsville Dam

Huntsville Dam

This dam is about 300 feet from my house.  Hard to believe something so beautiful can be so dangerous.  A few years ago, it burst and we were evacuated from our homes at 2 something in the morning.  Hard part? Remembering to take the necessities and not the sentimental things like photo albums, cards, childrens’ art.

Falls, Pennsylvania

While driving to our friends’ home, we came across this charming little dock.  Can you imagine sitting here with your family, fishing and just enjoying the breeze?
