Are you a resolution writer? Like I wrote here, I don’t write out goals and things for the new year because I never seem to accomplish them, then I’m left with this overwhelming sense of failure. I think it’s contrary to my nature; I’m more of an Ohhhhh, the wind is blowing left? Then let’s go left kind of person. The Hubs is the planner in this relationship. He has lists for everything. Hey! How’s 2022 treating you so far? This first week has been off to a rocky start for me. My family has had to deal with a couple of non-COVID related medical issues. And, I’m not gonna lie, it has been overwhelming. However, things are smoothing out so maybe 2022 will get better? Do you make resolutions? I don’t. I used to do so but then I’d get frustrated when I failed to meet my goals. That’s why I no longer write blog goals. Life is stressful enough without adding to the internal drama. The best of all gifts around any Christmas tree: the presence of a happy family all wrapped up in each other. – Burton Hills CHRISTMAS CARD READY I wasn’t sure what to expect when I was asked to meet this sweet family at Grant Christmas Tree Farm for our Christmas Mini. The skies were overcast and the weather a bit chilly, in fact, the girls were shivering but you can barely tell from the images. They were such pros.
