Welcome to the first edition of Shoe Style Saturday! I used to host this many years ago, then I just kind of let it fall to the side. There wasn’t a real reason for it. I just got lazy, I guess.
Then I started talking to fellow blogger, Shugunna {Nzuri N* Simplicity}, and we decided to bring it back. I know, why now? Well, why not now? I mean, we need something to distract us from does the Kermit wave what’s going on out there.
Like many of you, I’ve been home with my family. We started telecommuting about a week ago and the transition hasn’t been without its {very minor} hiccups, but I’m trying to keep to as normal a routine as possible. I still wake up at 5:45 am and take Bleu out for her morning walk. I still shower and get dressed every day as if I’m going to the library. And, if you follow me on Instagram, you know that I still take my morning coffee pictures. This helps me maintain a sense of normalcy. And it means there won’t be a massive adjustment when it’s time to return to work.
I’m also watching my fair share of TV shows. Right now I’m binge watching a British mystery called The Stranger. I can’t tell if I like this show or if I can’t stop watching it. It’s one of the weirdest things I’ve ever seen {but not quite as weird as Tiger King – I haven’t watched that yet, but my Facebook timeline is full of the craziness that is that show}.
