I can’t remember when or where I bought the shoes but I can remember when I bought the bag… I had just graduated from Drexel University and, with shiny degree in hand, was preparing to get my first full~time position as a librarian at a local college.  For the interview, I wanted a stylish briefcase and a cute suit.  Conventional wisdom said to go with one of the safe colors like brown, black or navy leather case but, um, that’s so not me.  I didn’t choose a “safe” black suit either.  Anyway, I happened to be watching TV when this beautiful briefcase came on the air, it was a Dooney…
